Tea-talk on The Green Building Index by Ir Leong Siew Meng .
The GBI is developed by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM). The talk will provide an outline of the GBI, explain what is it, why green buildings, how do we go about building green, how does it compare with other methods, and the significance and impact of GBI to the environment and the construction industry.

Northern Region seminar a great success
MFPA completed another significant milestone in jointly organizing a seminar with MASKAB Penang and IEM on Design and Codes on Sprinkler Systems and Fire Protection Practices which was attended by more than 300 MFPA, IEM, PIAM members and officers from the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia on 27 November 2008 at Penang.
